A 15-year-old boy was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in the national Capital with the police on Thursday investigating whether his father has any role in his death.
The incident was reported from Narela on Wednesday and the deceased has been identified as Vikas. Police received a call that a man was beating his son mercilessly at his residence.
A police team rushed to the spot and found Vikas lying unconscious. The minor was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The police found that Ajay, the father of the deceased, had a fight with his wife and had allegedly assaulted his son.
Vikas's mother, however, told police that Ajay fell from the top floor of the house.
The neighbours said the couple had a fight on Wednesday morning and screams were heard from the house.
No arrests have been made. The police have recorded the statement of his parents and neighbours.
