New Delhi: A couple travelling to Srinagar were apprehended at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in New Delhi today for allegedly carrying a live bullet in their baggage.
Officials said the bullet, of the 8 mm caliber, was recovered by CISF personnel during the scanning of the hand baggage of the husband-wife duo before they were supposed to take a private airline to Kashmir.
The incident was reported around 9 am.
The duo has been handed over to Delhi Police for further questioning, they said.
