New Delhi:
Irked after being bullied by a man, two of his victims bludgeoned him to death and dumped his body in a water tank, police said on Monday. The accused have been arrested.
"Mithun and Manoj Kumar were arrested on Sunday near Hanuman Mandir in Karol Bagh for murdering Anil," said a senior police officer.
According to police, Anil, 26, had a quarrel with Mithun and Manoj a day before his body was found in an underground water tank at Bhuli Bhatiyari Ridge Road in central Delhi.
Anil used to bully rickshaw-pullers and shopkeepers in the area and also forcibly snatched the daily earnings of other vagabonds sleeping in the park and footpath at night, police said.
Angered after the quarrel the previous day, Mithun and Manoj had some liquor on December 6 and then attacked Anil with stones killing him.
