New Delhi: A 33-year-old businessman was shot at and critically injured by unknown assailants while he was driving, police said on Friday.
"Naresh Agrawal was driving his car when an armed men opened fire at him at Paschim Vihar area in west Delhi on Thursday late evening. The attackers then fled from the scene," said a police officer.
Bystanders informed police and took Agrawal to a nearby hospital, the officer added.
Police said the reason for the attack is being investigated.
Agrawal, who runs a general store at Trilokpuri area, was in critical condition in hospital, the officer said adding that several of his friends and relatives were questioned in connection with the attack.
