New Delhi: The body of a 32-year-old man was found inside his locked car in sector eight of Dwarka in southwest Delhi on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Mahesh Sharma, a cab driver and resident of sector nine in Dwarka. A liquor bottle was found inside the car, police said.
The man was found lying on the backseat of the car by the locals. Thinking the person was sleeping, they tried to wake him up by banging on the windowpanes of the car, but he remained motionless, a police officer said.
On receiving the information, police reached the spot and broke a windowpane of the vehicle and took Mr Sharma to hospital were the doctors declared him dead.
Mr Sharma owned the car. No injury marks were found on his body. The exact reason for the death will come to light after the autopsy report is received, the officer added.
