Caught on Camera: Drunk Driver Almost Rams Car Into Temple

The car smashed into a divider after hitting a stationery car

New Delhi: A drunk driver was caught on camera after he crashed his Hyundai Verna into a waiting cab in Karol Bagh area in Central Delhi at 11:30 on Monday night.

The collision propelled the car forward and hit a railing and almost went into a temple.

Police has registered a case and said that no one was reported injured in the accident. Eyewitnesses said the occupants of the Verna were visibly drunk.

Drunk driving incidents have been on a rise in the capital city, With a total 20,400 drivers having been prosecuted for drunken driving from January 1 to August 15 this year.

Earlier this month, an allegedly drunk driver killed one person after he ran over thirteen sleeping pavement dwellers in the capital city.(Read)
