New Delhi:
Two people were arrested for vandalising a restaurant and attacking a head constable in New Delhi last week, police said on Sunday.
"The accused, Jaikishan and Punit, were arrested from Dilshad Garden in east Delhi," said a police officer.
The two were members of a gang headed by criminal Dinesh Pehelwan, who is still at large, the officer said.
The incident took place on October 31 at Rasoi Restaurant in east Delhi's Dilshad Garden after a scuffle between the gang members and restaurant owner over non-payment of bill. Head constable Bijender, who tried to stop the accused, was also injured.
"The accused, Jaikishan and Punit, were arrested from Dilshad Garden in east Delhi," said a police officer.
