Chandigarh:
The charred bodies of four men from Delhi were found today inside a badly burnt car in Haryana's Jhajjar district, police said.
The four - identified as Manish, Sudhir, Mandeep and Deepak - belonged to two villages in Najafgarh in southwest Delhi.
The car, with a Delhi registration, was parked at an isolated spot near Isherheri village near Bahadurgarh town.
Police in Bahadurgarh told IANS that the case appeared to be that of murder.
Inquiries revealed the men had been missing from their homes since Wednesday afternoon.
The bodies were found inside the car by some villagers this morning, police said.
"It looks like a case of gang rivalry in which the four youths were murdered and brought here and burnt in the car. Gangs from Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh could be involved," a police officer said.
Haryana and Delhi Police were locked in a conflict on who would register the case. Finally, Haryana Police registered a case of murder.
