New Delhi: A CISF jawan on Thursday won praises for returning a bag containing Rs 1 lakh to its owner who lost it at a Metro station in New Delhi.
According to officials, Ashish, a resident of Paschim Vihar, forgot his bag at the X-ray scanner at the Udyog Bhawan Metro station after he crossed the security check.
"The passenger came back worried after 15 minutes at the same X-ray machine. Constable Laxman Singh, who was on duty, kept the bag safe with him and after verification it was returned to the owner," an official said.
The incident happened around 10:30 am, the official said.
