New Delhi: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials have returned a lost bag containing Rs 1 lakh cash to its rightful owner, who forgot it at a Delhi Metro station.
The incident happened late night on May 2 at the Rithala Metro station when a person handed over an unattended bag found inside a coach to on-duty CISF officials who, after security checks, took the custody of the bag and handed it over to DMRC station in-charge.
"The person who lost the bag had his contact number in the said bag. He was called on phone and he later came to claim the bag which contained Rs 1 lakh cash and a mobile phone," a CISF spokesperson said.
