New Delhi:
A 31-year-old civil services aspirant, allegedly committed suicide in north-west Delhi on Thursday, police said on Friday.
The incident was reported from Mukherjee Nagar on Thursday and the deceased has been identified as Surender, who hailed from Rajasthan. He was living in Mukherjee Nagar and was preparing for civil services examination.
He also used to take classes in Kautilya Institute in Batra Complex.
Surender was found hanging in the institute by his students who informed police.
No suicide note was recovered and investigations are on to find out the reason for him taking the extreme step.
Police believe that Surender was depressed after he failed to qualify Rajasthan Civil Service exam, the result of which was declared on Tuesday.
Surender's sister is to get married on June 22.
