Delhiites woke up to a pleasant windy morning on Tuesday, as the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.9 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The Met office has forecast a clear day with no rainfall.
"The skies will remain clear on Tuesday, with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 64 per cent.
Since the arrival of the monsoon, the city has recorded 781.4 mm or rain -- 43 per cent above average.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.9 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 27 degrees Celsius.
