The national capital witnessed an overcast today morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. The Meteorological Office has forecast rains in the evening.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said there will be light rain across the city and the sky will remain overcast throughout the day.
"The city will receive rain towards the evening. The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius," an IMD official said.
Humidity at 8.30 am was recorded 81 per cent.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 33.7 degrees Celsius, normal for the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 28 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
