It will be a cloudy morning in the national capital and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius, the Meteorological Office said.
"The sky will be partly cloudy throughout the day and the afternoon will be hot," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Today morning was cloudy as well with the minimum temperature recorded at 29.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The humidity at 8:30 am was 53 per cent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 41.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
