Cold wave gripped the national capital today with maximum temperature falling to 15.7 degree Celsius, seven notches below the season's average and minimum at 6.8 degree Celsius.
According to weather department officials, today's low was two notches below the season's average. The relative humidity was reported at 79 per cent.
The official predicted that skies will remain mainly clear and the visibility will be at 2,000 metres on Monday morning.
"Shallow to moderate fog is predicted for tomorrow morning," he said.
On Saturday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 11.5 degrees Celsius and 15.7 degrees Celsius respectively.
