A 30-year-old police constable today committed suicide by jumping in front of a Delhi Metro train, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) said.
The incident occurred around 2.30 p.m. at the Patel Chowk station in the heart of the capital when the man leaped before a train heading towards the Huda City Centre in Gurgaon, a CISF official told IANS.
He was identified as Sanjay Prasad, a constable with the communications wing of Delhi Police's east district office. Sanjay died after jumping on the Metro track from platform 2. No suicide note was found.
