A construction worker was today killed and three were injured when the scaffolding at a three-storeyed building they were standing on collapsed in west Delhi's Patel Nagar area.
"We got a call about the incident around 12.45 pm," said a fire department official.
"The scaffolding the construction workers were standing on collapsed. The injured are undergoing treatment at a hospital," police said.
Vinod (45) suffered serious injuries and was taken to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Hospital and later shifted to RML Hospital where he succumbed to wounds, a senior police officer said.
The injured have been identified as Santram (20), Tinku (22) and Chhotu (20), the official said.
