New Delhi:
A 25-year-old alleged contract killer, who was disguising himself as a businessman dealing in vegetables, was arrested here, police said today.
The arrested has been identified as Immamul Hasan, who hails from Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahar and he is presently residing in Delhi's Zafarabad.
He was allegedly involved in three murders and had been evading arrest, H G S Dhaliwal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), said. A loaded country-made pistol and a stolen motorcycle were recovered allegedly from his possession.
"He was arrested yesterday from Pushp Vihar," Dhaliwal said.
One Naushad who was accompanying him managed to escape from police.
In 2004, he had allegedly shot dead Samsul in Jafrabad over the distribution of betting money.
Two years later, he allegedly murdered Rizwan of Mustafabad over gang rivalry. "Later, as a fall out of this murder, Dilshad, the brother of Nausad was killed by Rashid, the member of the rival group. Both Inaam and Naushad had developed intense grudge against the members of rival gang and were now planning to eliminate Rashid," Dhaliwal said.
Last year, he had also allegedly shot dead Akbar in Bulandsahar with the help of his associates.
