New Delhi:
A probationary sub-inspector on Thursday shot dead his senior at point blank range inside a police station in New Delhi, police said.
Amarjeet Singh, 25, pumped two bullets from his nine mm service revolver into Kailash Chandra Yadav at Nihal Vihar police station in west Delhi, a senior police official said.
Singh was immediately arrested.
The official said the incident took place around 5.45 pm when Yadav was sitting in his room in the police station.
"Singh came inside his room and fired two bullets at Yadav," he said.
