New Delhi:
A 25-year-old factory worker was arrested along with a CRPF constable for allegedly raping his teenaged cousin in north-west Delhi, police said today.
The incident was reported from Khajuri Khas on February six when the 17-year-old girl approached police seeking action against her cousin Amit Sharma (25) and a CRPF Constable Jai Kiran (24) for raping her.
Police took her to a government hospital where a medical examination confirmed rape after which Sharma and Kiran were arrested, a senior police official said.
"Sharma and Kiran are friends. They allegedly raped Sharma's cousin," the official said.
A case has been registered.
