New Delhi:
A day after he was granted bail in a domestic violence case, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) lawmaker
Somnath Bharti today met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The former Delhi Law Minster, who was booked on charges of assaulting his
wife Lipika Mitra, described it as a "personal meeting".
The Aam Aadmi Party had washed its hand off Mr Bharti and asked him to surrender when he went into hiding after a first information report was filed.
Mr Kejriwal, too, had asked Mr Bharti to cooperate with police and said he had brought reproach on the party.
Mr Bharti surrendered to police last week and was arrested. A court in New Delhi on Wednesday granted him bail.
