New Delhi:
An Aam Aadmi Party volunteer committed suicide in Delhi on Saturday morning, police said.
Arvind Malik, in his late 20s, shot himself with a pistol owned by one of his family members at his house in east Delhi's Jaffrabad area.
"He was rushed to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital where he was declared dead," said a police officer.
"No suicide note was recovered from the victim's possession. However, an initial probe revealed he took the extreme step due to some family problems," said the officer.
