Delhi businessman found dead with three of his domestic staff

New Delhi: A 62-year-old businessman, along with three members of his domestic staff, was allegedly murdered inside his house at Vivek Vihar area in East Delhi, police said.

The bodies of businessmen Bajrang Lal Bokadia, his driver Vinod Dubey, cook Bhola and domestic help Anand Kumar were found this morning on the ground floor of Bokadia's house, police said.

The incident came to light when Bokadia's associate Subhash Sethia, who had come to meet him at around 8 this morning, found the main gate of the house open. When he entered the house, he saw the bodies were lying in a pool of blood and the house was ransacked. He informed the locals who called the police.

"Bokadia's hands and legs were tied to a chair while his mouth was strapped and his throat slit. The bodies of the other three were found on the floor and had injury marks.

"The driver was killed with a sharp-edged weapon while Bhola Singh and Anand had their throats slit. The veins of both of their hands were also slashed," said a police official.

According to police, there were about 12 assailants who captured and killed them brutally.

Police say, Mr Bokadia's wife was in Sujangarh at the time of the incident where the family runs two schools.

Police suspected some Bangladeshi gang might be involved in the case. Police have informed Mr Bokadia's son Pawan and daughter Preeti who are married and settled in Mumbai.

"It could be a case of armed robbery. But we cannot rule out the possibility of a personal enmity case too," a police official said.
