Delhi Climate Swings To Warmer Days
The MeT office has predicted overcast conditions tomorrow along with the possibility of light rain.
New Delhi: It was a hot day in the national capital today as the mercury continued its upward trend and the maximum temperature settled at 34.1 degrees Celsius, seven notches above the normal.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 17.6 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, said a MeT department official.

Humidity level in air oscillated between 88 and 26 per cent.

The MeT office has predicted overcast conditions tomorrow along with the possibility of light rain.

"The skies will be partly cloudy. Light rain and thundersquall may occur towards the afternoon and evening. Mist or haze is likely to occur in some areas."

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 30 and 16 degrees, respectively," the weatherman said.

Yesterday, the mercury rose to 33.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 15.7 degrees Celsius.
