It was a warm Friday morning in Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 29.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day ahead.
"The sky will remain clear in the morning but will turn cloudy noon onwards," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 45 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 am was 49 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded three notches above the average at 43.7 degrees Celsius, making it the season's hottest day so far. The minimum temperature settled a notch above the average at 26.3 degrees Celsius.
