New Delhi: The Delhi Police have found a note from the house of Defence Ministry official who was found dead along with his wife in his south Delhi flat. The note allegedly points fingers to a few Army officers for pressurising him at work.
Kumar Yashkar, who was Deputy Director in the Directorate General of Medical Services, and his 32-year-old wife Archana, were found dead on Friday afternoon.
A case of murder was registered by the Delhi Police, suspecting that the official probably strangled his wife before committing suicide.
Mr Yashkar's brother has told the police that the defence official had told him a month ago that he was in charge of Right To Information (RTI) applications in his department and was facing pressure regarding this.
Mr Yashkar's body was discovered with burn injuries, but there were no signs of external injury on his wife Archana's body. The couple has been married for seven years.
