Delhiites experienced a hot and humid Friday morning, with the minimum temperature being 25.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. According to the met department, dust storms are expected in the day ahead.
"The sky will turn partly cloudy with one or two spells of rain in the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.
Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded a notch above the average at 40.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled two notches below the average at 24.2 degrees Celsius.
