New Delhi:
An FIR was today lodged in Delhi against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and poet Kumar Vishwas for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of Valmiki Samaj, police said.
The FIR was filed under IPC Section 295 A (deliberate and malicious act to outrage religious feeling) after over 250-odd people protested outside Farsh bazaar police station in east Delhi, police said.
Members of Valmiki Samaj alleged that Vishwas had called Valmiki (a sage) a 'daku' during a public meeting, which had hurt their sentiments, they said.
