Delhi labour minister, Gopal Rai announced the website dedicated to the martyrs and freedom fighters.

Delhi government has decided to launch a website dedicated to the martyrs and freedom fighters with an aim to create a virtual gallery to make young men and women aware of the sacrifices made by them and inculcate the feeling of patriotism.
The website will be launched a function on September 27 on the occasion of 110th birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh, during which a cultural programme on patriotic theme 'Shaheed Utsav' will be organised at Talkatora stadium, Delhi Minister for Labour and General Adminstrative Department Gopal Rai said.
"The move is aimed at honouring freedom fighters and martyrs."
He said the government has coordinated with all 29 states and seven Union territories for nominating the freedom fighters and the family members or close relatives of the martyrs for attending the function where they will be felicitated.
"Foreign countries like Bangladesh, Myanmar, United Kingdom, Canada and the US etc were also contacted through the Indian Embassies located there for ascertaining about the details of freedom fighters and martyrs or their family members," Mr Rai said.
Also a platform will be provided to people for sending the photographs and details about the martyrs or freedom fighters, which are in their knowledge.
"The authenticity of such details will be verified before uploading and displayed on the website, so that a virtual gallery could be developed and the young generation knows about the sacrifice made by the freedom fighters for the country and the feeling of patriotism could be inculcated," the minister said.
