New Delhi: Activist lawyer and Swaraj Abhiyan leader Prashant Bhushan today termed the Delhi government's much touted odd-even scheme to combat spiralling air pollution as a "gimmick".

Mr Bhushan said citizens may offer better measures to reduce pollution like bike lanes and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) than resort to odd-even.

"Citizens may offer better solutions for pollution: Bike lanes, better public transport/BRT, than gimmicks like odd/even," he tweeted.

The Delhi government today started its second round of traffic rationing scheme which will continue until April 30.
