New Delhi:
Delhi received rains for the second consecutive day today causing inconvenience to a lot of commuters as road traffic was affected in several areas.
The Meteorological department has predicted more showers over the next two days.
The showers in the morning led to partial waterlogging and traffic snarls in some parts of the capital, including Kashmere Gate, Bhogal and Vikas Marg.
Office goers also found it difficult to come out of their homes and reach their workplaces due to rains.
Rain gauges measured 5.6 mm of showers for the past 24 hours ending at 8.30 am today.
Rains accompanied by thunderstorm and squall lashed the city last afternoon which led to traffic snarls in various
areas due to waterlogging. The squall had hit the city at a speed of 90 km per hour.
The rains have brought down the minimum temperature to 21.1 degree Celsius from yesterday's minimum of 23.1 degree Celsius.
The maximum temperature in the last 24 hours was recorded at 37.8 degree Celsius.
