New Delhi:
A court in Delhi on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of the four people allegedly involved in the Nido Tania killing case till March 11.
Metropolitan Magistrate Bhawna Kalia extended the judicial custody of Pawan, Sunder, Farman and Sunny Uppal, all booked under charges of murder.
Tania, a 19-year-old student from Arunachal Pradesh, died in hospital Jan 30, a day after being beaten up by several shopkeepers in south Delhi's Lajpat Nagar area on January 29 following an argument over his appearance and clothing.
Police said that according to the post-mortem examination report, his death was due to "serious" internal head injuries.
Pawan, Sunder and Farman were arrested on February 3 and booked under the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act for passing racist remarks against Tania.
