Delhi's newly-appointed Law Minister Kapil Mishra will be chairman of Delhi Jal Board.
34-year-old Mr Mishra, first-time MLA, will replace Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia as the Chairman of DJB.
"Apart from being Law Minister, he will also be chairman of DJB," a government official said.
Earlier in the day, Mr Mishra was sworn-in as a cabinet minister in the Delhi government and given charge of the Law Department. He replaced Jitender Singh Tomar who had resigned from the post last week following his arrest on charge of possessing fake degrees.
