Delhi welcomed the escape from heat and increasing humidity levels as light rains showered some parts of the city on Saturday afternoon.
The day began with a sunny morning and a minimum temperature of 28.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met Office forecast suggested a party cloudy day and light rainfall in some parts of the city. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 85 percent.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 37 degrees Celsius.
Friday was warm with a maximum temperature of 37.7 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average. The minimum was 28.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
