New Delhi:
Keeping your cars in Delhi Metro parking lots in New Delhi will be costlier from March 1 as the new tariff goes into effect on that day.
The daily parking would almost be doubled with car-owners required to pay Rs 20 instead of Rs 10 for the first six hours.
The monthly parking charges will also be increased from Rs 625 to Rs 1,000 for cars.
"In accordance with the proposed hike in parking rates by different civic agencies in Delhi, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided to increase its parking rates from 1st March, 2013," a DMRC spokesman said.
