New Delhi: Delhi Metro services in Noida and Vaishali sections were today disrupted for over 30 minutes due to problem in signalling.
The services were unavailable from 6.10 pm to 6.40 pm which is the rush hour, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded.
"Due to signalling problem at Yamuna Bank, Metro train services were disrupted in Noida/Vaishali section frm 6:10pm to 6:40pm as routes were not set for those directions for trains coming from Dwarka," a DMRC spokesperson said.
"However, trains were run in a loop from Indraprastha to Dwarka during this period and normalcy is being restored on entire corridor," the official added.
The Noida-Dwarka line has been marred by disruptions due to problems in the overhead electrification (OHE) in the past as well.
