New Delhi:
Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhavan stations on Delhi Metro's Yellow Line will down shutters for nearly five hours on January 29 in the wake of 'Beating Retreat' ceremony.
Entry and exit to the stations would be unavailable from 2 pm to 6.30 pm as per instructions from Delhi Police which is overseeing the security arrangements for the occasion, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said in a statement.
However, interchange of passengers between Yellow and Violet Line and vice-versa will be allowed at Central Secretariat station for the entire duration of the restriction.
Both the stations are close to Vijay Chowk where the ceremony, which brings down the curtains on the Republic Day celebrations, is held.
Services on all other lines will be available as per normal schedule throughout the day.
