New Delhi: The Delhi Police today arrested four suspects in connection with the attack on Bharat Singh, an Independent MLA who was shot at by four gunmen in the Najafgarh area of Delhi yesterday.
The MLA was shot at in his office around 8 on Saturday morning. He received four bullet injuries and was immediately rushed to the Chanan Devi Hospital in Janakpuri. His uncle was also injured in the attack.
After two surgeries, the legislator is now out of danger and his condition is stable.
The suspects have been identified as Sumit, Vicky, Kuldeep and Virendra. "Prima facie it seems personal enmity is the reason behind the attack," a police official said today.
