New Delhi: A new-born baby girl was found abandoned in an autorickshaw parked near Safdarjung Hospital in south Delhi, police said today.
The infant, born about a couple of days back, was found last night by one Mohd Azaz as he was going to meet one of his relatives admitted at the hospital, police added.
"The infant has been kept in Safdarjung Hospital for medical treatment and her condition is now normal," police said.
They added that a tag was found tied on the baby's hand which suggests that she was born in Safdarjung Hospital.
Efforts are on to trace her parents, police said.
