Delhi: New-born found in plastic bag

New Delhi: A new-born baby was on Wednesday found abandoned in a plastic bag in south Delhi, police said. The infant was disposed off in a polythene bag near Sector-7 Gate of R K Puram.

A woman Radha noticed the baby after hearing it crying and she informed the police.

Police said they believe that the baby belongs to an unmarried woman. The new-born has been sent to a children's welfare centre.
