New Delhi: A 23-year-old Delhi police constable was stabbed to death by his minor girlfriend in Delhi on Sunday, police said.
Anil Kumar, who was posted at west Delhi's Hari Nagar police station, was stabbed with a kitchen knife around 11 am inside his rented accommodation in east Delhi's Kondli area.
The constable, who hailed from Tappal in Haryana's Faridabad, was taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital where doctors declared him dead due to excess bleeding.
He had joined the Delhi Police in 2007.
"He had an affair with a minor girl. He called the girl at his residence on Sunday where they had a heated argument and the girl attacked him with the knife," said a police officer.
