New Delhi: A 36-year-old property dealer was found dead in the back seat of his car in the capital, police said Saturday.
Praveen Singh, a resident of Najafgarh area in west Delhi was found dead in his car parked road side at a market in west Delhi's Rajouri Garden area around 11.50 a.m. Friday, Additional Commissioner of Police V. Renganathan said.
"We are yet to ascertain the reason behind Praveen's death. We are awaiting for his post-mortem report," Renganathan added.
Praveen, who was a property dealer, is survived by his wife and three children.
"He left his house Thursday but did not come back till late night. Police informed his family members about his death Friday," said a police officer.
"During the scrutiny of the CCTV cameras installed in the market, where he was found dead in his car, investigators found some footage that can help police in cracking the mystery of the case," added the officer.
In the footage, three people, including two women, were seen stepping out from the car of the victim, the officer said.
Police is trying to identify the people, who were with Praveen in his car Thursday.
It is still a mystery for police if the victim was killed or he committed suicide, added the officer.
