Light rains brought some respite from sultry weather conditions in the national capital even as humidity level touched a high of 75 per cent.
According to the MeT Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal, while the minimum temperature was also recorded one degree above normal at 28.6 degrees Celsius.
The city also received 0.9 mm rainfall in the past nine hours, ending at 5.30 PM.
Humidity level in the city oscillated between 47 per cent and 75 per cent.
The MeT department has predicted that the sky will be partly cloudy tomorrow with a possibility of very light rain and thundershowers in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperature would be around 38 and 29 degrees Celsius respectively.
The maximum temperature registered yesterday was at 38.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius.
