New Delhi: A car accessory supplier allegedly stabbed to death a 30-year-old rickshaw puller who slapped him over an argument, police in the national capital said on Friday.
Rajesh Saran, the rickshaw puller, was allegedly stabbed in east Delhi's Vivek Vihar around 9 pm on Thursday.
"He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries after excessive loss of blood," a police officer said.
The accused, Rajender Kumar, 23, and his 17-year-old brother were apprehended a few hours after the incident. Kumar was sent to judicial custody, while his brother has been referred to a juvenile home.
The officer said that Saran and Kumar had got into a heated argument over a petty issue.
"Saran slapped Kumar during the argument. Infuriated by the slap, Kumar went back home and returned with a knife, accompanied by his brother," the officer said.
