The heat wave continued unabated in the national capital this morning with the minimum temperature settling five notches above average at 31.4 degrees Celsius.
"Heat wave conditions would continue across the national capital. The maximum temperature today is expected to be around 45 degrees Celsius," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said. (Share your pictures and videos)
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 31 percent. (Read: No respite from heat till Sunday)
On Wednesday, the maximum temperature settled five notches above average at 44.9 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 30.3 degrees Celsius, four notches above average for this time of the season.
