Delhiites woke up to a sunny Friday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead.
"The skies will be clear in the morning, but will turn partly cloudy from noon onwards," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature on Friday is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8:30 am was 68 per cent.
The maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 38 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 23.5 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average.
