It was a hot and sunny morning for Delhi on Tuesday with the minimum temperature settling at 21 degrees Celsius, five notches above average. The Met office has forecast a hot day.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the skies will remain clear and sunny through the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 am was 82 per cent.
Monday's maximum temperature was 37 degrees Celsius, seven degrees above average, while the minimum was 19.4 degrees Celsius, three degrees above average.
