New Delhi:
The residents of national capital today woke up to a pleasant morning with weatherman predicting light rains in some areas in the evening.
According to the MeT department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.7 degree Celsius which was five notches above normal.
An official of the department said that humidity level recorded till 8.30 am was 87 per cent.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy and light rain or thundershowers may occur in some areas of the national capital in the evening and night," the official said.
He also said that the maximum temperature is expected to settle around 26 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.6 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature dipped to 23.8 degree Celsius.
