New Delhi:
Two students were killed and four of their classmates injured when the car they were travelling in jumped the road-divider and collided with an oncoming car, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place at around 11.20 p.m. on Wednesday near Mayur Vihar Phase-I metro station in east Delhi when the driver lost control over the car.
"After jumping the divider, the car collided with another car heading towards Mayur Vihar," said a police official.
The police official said the six engineering students, all in their 20s, were returning to Delhi from Noida.
The other car's occupants, a couple and a child, suffered only minor injuries, said the official.
