New Delhi: The Delhi University has received over 2.7 lakh applications for nearly 54,000 seats for admission in the four year undergraduate programme (FYUP).
Monday was the last day for submission of forms for admission to undergraduate courses with the deadline for online applications being midnight.
The total number of centralised optical mark recognition (OMR) applications received this year is 2,74,381, officials at Delhi University said.
Last year, 2,54,339 applications were received for admission into undergraduate courses.
The total number of forms sold offline at the designated centres were 1,54,961.
The first cut off list will be released on June 24, followed by up to nine more lists depending on seat availability till July 21.
Students will get three days to complete the enrollment process under each of the first five cut-off lists.
